OroCRM: the roadmap unveiled

In preparation for the release of the beta version, Oro publishes details of its program for OroCRM, the management tool which integrates customer-specific functions related to e-commerce. The added value of this solution lies in the cross checking of information from multiple sources, which allows for highly targeted marketing activities.

If OroCRM also provides the basic functions of a CRM tool (contact management, accounts ...), the solution will be able to combine these functions not only with the sales data but also with data specific to e-commerce, including the history of customer purchases, and even the items added to the basket which were not bought.

OroCRM will also be intergrated with e-commerce platforms, starting with Magento. A sophisticated customer data segmentation will also be possible, improving targeted marketing. In addition, the reporting will be enhanced by the aggregation of data from different sources, including Magento. In addition, following the beta versions, the solution should incorporate features for the implementation of marketing campaigns.

The software should also be very user friendly, allowing the management of multiple users in different divisions and locations.
